Depending on the type of tissue or organ affected, signs and symptoms will vary.

Febrile respiratory disease and acute respiratory disease (ARD), including pneumonia-like symptoms, which are infections of the upper and/or lower respiratory tract, cause typical respiratory disease symptoms. This is the most common result of adenoviral infection in children.

On the other hand, species C may infect and be assymptomatic.

Gastroenteritis is an inflammation of the stomach and the large and small intestines. Symptoms may include diarrhea, vomiting, headache and fever.

Eye Infections like "Pink eye," Keratoconjunctivitis and Pharyngoconjunctival fever.
